Grant Thornton selected Cardinal because of our record of successful projects with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Cardinal staff were responsible for managing the Grant Thornton team tasked with the creation, modification, and production of the Management Objectives Report—TSA's new performance management system. Additionally, Cardinal personnel played a key role in the development of enhancements to the Performance Management Information System (PMIS) and Performance Information Measurement System (PIMS), and led the effort directly supporting the needs of 13,000+ federal PMIS and PIMS users. In the process, we brought valuable U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) technical process knowledge to the PMO. Through Cardinal's efforts, PIMS also houses all of TSA's performance measures, dates, status, and reporting requirements, supporting the creation of executive dashboards that clearly and concisely depict relevant information for strategic decision making.
